Collection: TRIPP NYC CLOTHING

What Inspired Tripp NYC?

The TRIPP NYC collection takes its cues from the gritty underground rock & roll vibe, blending it seamlessly with the edgy streets of downtown NYC! Staying true to its rebellious roots, Tripp NYC, launched in the '80s by designer Daang Goodman, quickly became a cornerstone of New York streetwear. It’s a vibrant hub where everyone—from rappers and rebellious teens to rockers and artists—can showcase their style, inspired by the creative downtown art scene and a mix of music genres!

Tripp NYC Designs

Always pushing boundaries, TRIPP NYC leads with original designs focused on the perfect fit and signature styles—from bondage pants and unique washes to hand-studded details and their bold "Dark Street" look, a fresh twist on classic NYC streetwear! At TAKE A PEEK, we offer a variety of TRIPP NYC pieces, including pants in multiple styles, eye-catching dresses, cropped hoodies, sweaters, and jackets. Don’t miss your chance to grab these standout, innovative designs straight from TRIPP NYC!

What is the history of the brand?

The company got its start back in 1837, thanks to John Jacob Astor. Born in 1763 in Walldorf, Germany, Astor was the youngest of eight siblings. His dad was a butcher, and his mom came from a baker’s family. In 1784, he made the big move to the United States, landing first in New York City. Astor dived into the fur trade and struck it rich through business with China. By 1803, he had even bought himself a farm upstate in New York!
